Seventh Sunday of Easter 2025

that they may all be one

Graciously hear our prayer, O God,
that we who believe that Christ our Saviour
is now with you in majesty,
may also experience the promise
of remaining with us always, to the end of the age;
through the same Jesus Christ,
who is alive with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen.

The above is a newer addition to my Book of Prayers in Common. I will work on a commentary for this in due course.

In the Southern Hemisphere, this is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

Don’t forget this is still the Easter Season: the Easter Candle is still lit at all services, and “Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!” is still being used, with “Alleluia” added to other responses also.
