Today is 2.2.22 – even for people in USA, who write dates in the oddest way! It is Candlemas, the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, 40 days after Christmas.

Keep the whānau of your church, O God,
safe in your tender compassion,
so that we who entrust ourselves totally to your heavenly grace
may always be defended by your protection;
through Jesus Christ
who is alive with you,
