• collect/opening prayer reflection for the Day of Pentecost June 12
The week following the Day of Pentecost is the 11th week in Ordinary Time
collect/opening prayer reflection for this week (NZPB)
The Day of Pentecost is a feast day. It concludes the Easter Season. It does not start a new season. We do not use the Day of Pentecost collect on Monday June 13. The weekdays following the Day of Pentecost are part of Ordinary Time and their colour is green.

O Lord, from whom all good things come:
grant to us your humble servants,
that by your holy inspiration
we may think those things that are good,
and by your merciful guiding may perform the same;
through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love,
that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness,
and minister your justice with compassion;
for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Some celebrate the weekdays as Ember Days
