Having criticised the pope for his choice of Newman’s feast day, and the Archbishop of Canterbury’s clear inability to find a spine and say to the pope that Anglicans are aggrieved, I keep waiting for the knock at the door for the Anglican equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition:

Oh, so I guess you won’t be silenced for having the temerity to speak your mind? Maybe you should consider changing denominations (or converting..now I’m confused) … since there is lots more drama in the RCC. Sometimes I think that’s a major part of the attraction! (I’m being facetious, of course. I always have to say that because peeps think I’m serious!
