I really like the version of the Reproaches used in this Good Friday service.
Twice in the run up to Holy Week this year, I came across references to Spy Wednesday. I don’t think I have ever heard of it before. Is this something that has been celebrated/commemorated for centuries but has passed me by or is it a recent innovation?
Robert, I don’t know its history – someone else here may. I don’t think it is a recent innovation. If anything, I think it is falling out of use rather than growing in popularity as a term. Blessings.
