The Collect
I am attempting my own version of the collects, and rework this week’s one as:
Almighty everlasting God,
grant us an increase of faith, hope, and love,
and, so that we may obtain what you promise,
make us cherish what you command;
through Jesus Christ
who is alive with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God now and for ever.
Amen
It is shared by Roman Catholics, Anglicans, and others. Please send me any comments and constructive suggestions about my version of the collect, or include it in the comments section below.

Beautiful! I shall use that today with my group thanks Bosco.
Thanks for your feedback, Tracy.
I just read on a mainstream media site about a supposed increase in UFO sightings and how some governments are “easing into” informing the public that alien life is real. One woman who commented on the article was devastated, because she felt it destroyed her belief in God and left her with nothing to hang onto.
It seems like there will always be something to shake your faith, and erode your belief in God.
When it comes to the rapture I refer to Matthew 24:36&42
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father…Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”
