Ordinary (“counting”) Time is my own usual way of referring to where we are currently. We stopped just before Lent, and have carried on counting where we left off after the Easter Season ended on the Day of Pentecost. The week before Lent was Week 7; the week following the Day of Pentecost is Week 8.
